Swing Zone Select

Unlock the Next Stage.

Swing Zone Select is an evaluation-based, small-group training experience for athletes who are ready to be challenged by focused coaching and a carefully matched group of peers.

A Purposeful Next Step

What Is Swing Zone Select?

Select is designed for athletes who may not need private instruction every week but would benefit from focused coaching and regular work with athletes who possess a comparable or more advanced skillset.

Every Select group is intentionally kept small. Athletes are placed together based on demonstrated ability, readiness, goals, and how well we believe they will train together—not simply by age.

The goal is not to create the largest roster possible. It is to build the right training environment for athletes who can challenge, encourage, and elevate one another.

The Development Journey

Find the Right Training Environment

Swing Zone offers several ways for athletes to begin, develop, and continue progressing. Each option serves a different purpose.

Train for the Player You’re Becoming

Softball athletes have different developmental needs. Select groups may be divided into two training tracks so each player receives work that supports her role on the field.

Position Players

Batting + Fielding

Approximately 50% of training time is dedicated to batting and 50% to fielding, throwing, reactions, and defensive development.

Pitchers

Pitching + Batting

Approximately 70% of training time is dedicated to pitching development and 30% to batting, allowing pitchers to continue growing as complete players.

Final group structure will depend on athlete interest, evaluations, coaching availability, and the number of players who are a strong developmental fit.

Guided Golf Competition

Select 150 + Select 200

Select 150 and Select 200 are four-week guided competition experiences. A coach remains with the group as golfers compete, helping players make decisions, respond to difficult moments, and maintain their mental balance throughout the round.

Week 1 Four-Player Team Scramble
Week 2 Singles Match Play
Week 3 Two-Player Team Scramble
Week 4 Singles Stroke Play

Select 150 and Select 200 group golfers by the course distance and developmental challenge that best fits their current game. Final placement is determined through evaluation.

Who Select Is For

Readiness Matters More Than Age

A Strong Fit

Select May Be Right If...

  • The athlete has established fundamental skills
  • The athlete responds well to coaching and feedback
  • The athlete can train productively in a small group
  • The athlete is ready to be challenged by capable peers
  • The family can commit to consistent attendance
Another Path May Be Better

Select May Not Be the First Step If...

  • The athlete is completely new to the sport
  • The athlete still needs significant one-on-one attention
  • The athlete is not ready for a commitment-based program
  • The athlete would benefit more from camp, Academy, or private lessons first
  • The family is looking for casual drop-in training
How Selection Works

Building the Right Group

Step One

Express Interest

Families share information about the athlete’s experience, goals, current level, and availability.

Step Two

Evaluation or Tryout

Athletes may be invited to an evaluation or tryout so coaches can assess current skills, coachability, readiness, and group fit.

Step Three

Group Placement

Selected athletes are placed with peers who we believe can train productively and help drive one another forward.

Step Four

Program Invitation

Families receive the program schedule, expectations, pricing, and enrollment information before committing.

Expressing interest or attending an evaluation does not guarantee placement. Selection is based on athlete readiness, coach availability, group compatibility, and program capacity.

Future Program Interest

What About Baseball?

Baseball Select is not currently being offered.

Families may still express future interest in a Baseball Select program. That interest will help Swing Zone evaluate whether the right athletes, coaching resources, and program structure exist to develop a future offering.

Interested in Swing Zone Select?

Our online Select interest form will be added soon. Until then, families can email Swing Zone with the athlete’s name, age, sport, current experience, and primary development goals.
